Turn 1 the Villain at Japan - F1 Round 14

Welcome everyone to the 14th round of the SLR Season, and this week we find ourselves in Suzuka for the Japanese Grand Prix as we return to action following a big break. There were plenty of spooks and scares for our drivers on this Halloween weekend, but the big villain of it all seemed to be Turn 1, where all but one of the incidents sent in took place between drivers jostling for position into the first corner. So, who was able to trick themselves in for a treat at Japan? Let's find out!

Lap 22 incident involving SimbarocksONE & SemmF1

Verdict: No Further Action

Detail: After the review from the stewards, the majority ruled in favour of no further action here, and said that this was very hard racing from the two drivers. Simba forces Semm onto the kerb at T1 which makes him lose full control of his car, which then causes Semm to collide with Simba.

Lap 19 incident involving Arb0n EPA & Goggy

Verdict: No Further Action

Detail: Goggy and Arbon enter the corner side by side with equal entitlement to the corner. Goggy then slightly taps the inside kerb which sends him slightly wide and making minor contact with Arbon, giving the latter wing damage. The contact is so minor that the stewards have elected not to penalise Goggy for this.

Verdict: No Futher Action

Detail: The stewards feel that this is just some wheel-banging on the straight, not predominately caused by either driver.


Lap 24 incident involving milanist_EME & SLR Xynew

Verdict: No Further Action

Detail: The stewards feel that Milanist and Xynew both have their part to play for the collision and that no driver is enough to blame to award them a penalty. Therefore, this is deemed a racing incident.
