Lap 11 incident involving Goggy & SLR Barlow
Verdict: No Further Action
Detail: The stewards have split this ticket into 2 parts:
1) Into spoon curve we feel that Goggy is caught out by the overspeed he has on the car ahead. Goggy's speed only drops by 6mph which shows that Barlow doesn't brake.
2) Into the final chicane Goggy felt that Barlow intentionally attempted to take him out. Whilst the stewards understand where Goggy has come from due to the nature of Barlow's car here, they felt that it was more Barlow getting his braking completely wrong. They have come to this conclusion due to where Barlow ends up, in the gravel on the right side of the track through his attempts to avoid the cars ahead.
Lap 18 incident between LRS-Karl & BGR_SXPERI-74
Verdict: No Further Action
Detail: Whilst the stewards agree that Sxperi does slow, it was to allow Qwerty back past after being told he performed an illegal overtake. The stewards felt that Sxperi did this in the best way possible given the circumstances, and such have decided not to apply a penalty.
Lap 18 incident - Safety Car Restart
Verdict: 2LP to CamMackenzie95 due to DNF
Detail: The stewards have decided to penalise Cam for this incident as from the evidence provided, he leaves a big gap to the car ahead and then floors it, anticipating the cars to begin accelerating, which they do not. He then slams on his brakes and causes the chain reaction of cars behind coming together all from him wrongly anticipating the restart.

Lap 13 incident involving EIIis 37, ZZG-SpeedyB & legendarydannyd
Verdict: 2LP to legendarydannyd due to DNF
Detail: Danny has retired in the pits and in doing this has caused his retired car to stop on the pit exit, costing 2 drivers behind a large amount of time. An announcement was made earlier this season to prevent such an incident happening, and the stewards feel that their request was not abided by here and such have given a 2LP penalty.
Lap 23 incident - Safety Car Restart
Verdict: No Further Action
Detail: The stewards felt that there should not be a penalty as the cars were always going to slow as part of a usual Safety Car Restart, however a chain reaction has been caused here by a car ahead getting caught out slightly due to both the slowing cars and the conditions at the time.
And that concludes yet another SLR race report, and hopefully we'll have plenty more excitement to look forward to as we head into the final 4 races! We begin our final 4 with a trip to Singapore and the Marina Bay Street Circuit, so make sure you've got your focus hats on at this tricky circuit! Here's what we could see happen in Singapore:
... SLR Moley could become the 20th driver to reach 900 SLR F1 points if they score 6 points.
... THATGUY691244 (38th) could reach 700 points if they score 24 points.
... DustyBassoon244 (65th) could reach 500 points if they score 1 point.
... F1ABQW3RTYYY (66th) could reach 500 points if they score 11 points.
... WillyBum7 (87th) could reach 400 points if they score 6 points.
... EIIis 37 (159th) could reach 200 points if they score 6 points.
... Goggy (170th) could reach 200 points if they score 25 points.
... Oli Matthews (225th) could reach 100 points if they score 2 points.
... RustedBolt3021 (240th) could reach 100 points if they score 19 points.
Plenty to look forward to when we head to Singapore! Good luck this weekend!
