Welcome back everyone, it's a new season and we're kicking off at Australia once again. A new game brings new track scans, new liveries and a new pecking order with the drivers. It's looking to be an exciting one with 18 rounds ahead, and after this weekend we're still certain that this is going to be the case. Let's see how it all went down in Melbourne!

Ticket # 66 - Lap 17 incident involving RustedBolt3021 & Drastikblaze
Verdict: No Further Action
Detail: The stewards have deemed this a racing incident. Blaze has made the move into T1 and with the nature of the corners, RustedBolt has been caught out in the run off. The stewards do not believe that Blaze should be penalised for this manoeuvre.
Ticket # 67 - Lap 20 incident involving BalmyTick395524 & DustyBassoon244
Verdict: 10 second penalty removed from BalmyTick395524
Detail: This was clearly an unjust penalty given to Balmy for the smallest of taps with Dusty, and the stewards agreed to remove this. Although the correct proof was not given, enough evidence was provided to show that Balmy did not serve the penalty, and so they have agreed to remove this. A reminder will be issued to all drivers to include their race director when asking for an in-game penalty to be removed.
Ticket # 68 - Lap 1 incident involving LSJ Rundle, RazzaGamerHD & DustyBassoon244
Verdict: No Further Action
Detail: The stewards believe that this is a really unfortunate incident for Rundle where 2 cars come together on Lap 1 ahead of him, with there being nothing he can do to avoid getting damage.
Ticket # 69 - Lap 1 incident involving SLR Jam40 - penalty removal request
Verdict: Request Denied, No Further Action
Detail: the stewards agreed in favour to keep the warning given to Jam on Lap 1. Jam did have all 4 wheels off the track, and he stayed committed to make the overtake despite the gap closing quickly into T1.

Ticket # 62 - Lap 12 incident involving I CJT22 I & SLR Allen
Verdict: No Further Action
Detail: The stewards determined that this was an unfortunate incident for CJT. Allen lost the rear end on traction and this left CJT nowhere to go.
Ticket # 63 - Lap 4 incident involving Evoke Replay & ZachIsBeast25
Verdict: No Further Action
Detail: The stewards determined this as a racing incident - Evoke is following the curve of the track and Zach is up his inside, the cars get locked together and they both are sent into the wall. The stewards do not believe that one driver is fully at fault for this incident.
Ticket # 64 - Lap 1 incident involving ZachIsBeast25 & zZirconium
Verdict: No Further Action
Detail: Initially there is only a car's width gap from Zach to the pitlane wall, and he has slightly angled his car to the right after a worse start than Zirconium. Zirconium has forced his car into a gap that was forever closing when there was plenty of room to the left of Zach to make the move. The stewards believe that no driver was solely at fault.
Ticket # 65 - Lap 16-17 incident involving Kislesko & SLR Bennett3810
Verdict: No Further Action
Detail: There is not a rule against a driver letting others go. Kislesko unfortunately catches Bennett at a bad time into T1 and picks up a warning resulting in a penalty. Bennett has also just re-joined the lobby from a disconnection, and on the alternate strategy with the leading pack behind him.

And that wraps up Round 1 at Australia, and hopefully we'll see the same amount of high-drama action in the coming 17 rounds. Welcome to this week's debutants, where DestroyerDRAC, ARLwhitemeat & RustedBolt3021 all took part their maiden SLR race in Melbourne, and are the 643rd, 644th & 645th different drivers to race in F1 respectfully. Welcome, and here's to many more!
Next up, we head to Barcelona for the Spanish Grand Prix. Here's what milestones we could see reached next time out!
SLR Corey could become the 7th driver to reach 1300 SLR F1 points if they score 18 points.
GSR Haze (9th) could reach 1100 points if they score 2 points.
SemmF1 (21st) could reach 800 points if they score 7 points.
aligator86 (149th) could reach 200 points if they score 3 points.
Rico AV (216th) could reach 100 points if they score 5 points.
BlackSpartan133 (225th) could reach 100 points if they score 16 points.
TIRSpiderJR7834 (227th) could reach 100 points if they score 16 points.
See you in Spain!
