Welcome back to the 6th Round of the F2 season where we returned back to Silverstone for another homecoming at the British Grand Prix. Ticket # 0028

Feature - Lap 4 incident involving I Pluto74 I

Verdict: NFA

We as the stewards feel this 10 second time penalty for speeding into the pits cannot be removed due to it being down to driver error. The pit limiter goes on to start with and then comes off the driver then reaches full throttle again. It’s on the driver to enter the pits at the correct speed and not fully rely on the limiter.

Ticket # 0029

Feature - Lap 1 incident involving I LightCast I & GoogleSaw390

Verdict: 5 seconds and 1 LP to GoogleSaw (2LP due to DNF)

On the exit of Aintree onto the Wellington Straight, GoggleSaw shows no awareness to a car well alongside on the inside, trying to go to the racing line, resulting in LightCast being spun.

And that is all for Silverstone! See you next round on Thursday 12th March as we take on the classic Autodromo Nazionale Monza for the Italian Grand Prix!
