F2's day out at the SPA - F2 Round 6

The 2nd half of the season got underway at SPA-Francorchamps, one of the classic SLR F2 circuits. A sublime 3 way fight for pole positions between 3 of our champions! In the end SLR Jam took the honours and 2 points for pole in his PREMA! The sprint race had quite the overtaking bonanza, a fight for the ages with a handful of former champions, the newbies showing their worth, and some fab racing all round from our drivers. The sprint would be taken by SLR Corey in the Hitech, who had an intense last lap battle with BMidzy but just beat him to the line, SLR Medal would round out the poidum. A wet start to the feature race saw some struggle out there, two that were not was pole sitter Jam and sprint winner SLR Corey who took off out infront. Once it dried up these two prevailed, pulling a sensational gap out infront, once again it would go down to the final corner of the final lap and once again the championship leader SLR Corey took the victory and a step closer to etching his name in the history books for a 2nd time.

Next time out we head to the home of SLR, the home of racing.... Silverstone! Make sure you don't miss it.

This is purely down to the contact model rear left to right front wheels touch and that takes both cars off the track no driver at fault.

BMidzy has got stuck on the outside kerb going into no name this has unsettled his car and before he can fully regain control of his car he’s in the gravel and this spins him back onto the track unfortunately catching Southerners front wing resulting in damage.
