All Hype at Abu Dhabi! - F1 Round 10

Welcome to Round 10 of Season 14 of SLR, and with the news in the week of the release of F1 25, we look forward to welcoming you all back for Seasons 15 & 16 on the new game. First though we have to finish up on F1 24, and that means finishing up Season 14. As we headed into our final night race of the season, I guess you could say that the sun was beginning to set on Season 14... We returned to Abu Dhabi for the first time since the Season 12 finale, where we saw our very own Miracle of Yas Marina. Could anything of that magnitude be repeated this time around? Let's find out!

Ticket # 31 - Lap 19 incident involving BalmyTick395524 - penalty removal request

Verdict: warning removed, 3 second penalty removed.

Detail: Balmy was given an unfair track limits warning by the game when entering the pits, and so has had this removed. He provided the sufficient evidence to prove he only received 3 warnings, and so with the warning removal, his penalty has been rescinded.

Ticket # 29 - Qualifying incident involving UKBeastAssassin & LTKtarrierYT

Verdict: 1LP to LTKtarrierYT

Detail: The stewards agreed that Tarrier should have ensured his equipment was working properly before hand, or fixed it in a way that couldn't potentially cause an incident with another car, like what happened here. Also he should be aware of his surroundings before getting out of AI, as if he hadn't come out of AI, they believe the collision would have taken place. Due to all of these reasons, the stewards have given 1 licence point.

Ticket # 30 - Lap 25 incident involving IAC Lambo & Echo3x3 - penalty removal request

Verdict: Removal request denied, No further Action taken.

Detail: The stewards have decided that there was more Lambo could have done here. Echo leaves him room however Lambo turns into him and causes the contact and they hook wheels, causing them both to go off. The stewards have decided not to remove the penalty, despite Lambo providing sufficient evidence, as they believed he did gain an advantage when overtaking Echo off track.



That's all for this week, and now we have just 4 rounds left of Season 14. The final 4 begins with the return to the famous Suzuka Circuit in Japan. Division 3 got a taste of the circuit last season in the mystery circuit round, but for the majority it will be unknown territory. Here's what could happen when we hit the track next weekend!


... SLR Ham19 could be the first driver to hit 2100 total SLR F1 points if they score 25 points.


... SLR Jam40 (2nd) could reach 1900 points if they score 16.5 points.


... raceroller22 (4th) could reach 1500 points if they score 17 points.


... SLR Moley (21st) could reach 800 points if they score 17 points.


... F1ABQW3RTYYY (106th) could reach 300 points if they score 1 point.


... RSF1 Invade (149th) could reach 200 points if they score 11 points.


... DustyBassoon244 (209th) could reach 100 points if they score 2 points.


... Echo3x3 (223rd) could reach 100 points if they score 21 points.
